Whats up guys,
Welcome back you can tell I'm a bit excited today because we have a guest today! Its my cousin Caroline! So today I will be letting Caroline take over my blog for a guest blog! So over to you Caroline Hello, These are some of my best and favourite recipes. Fluffy homemade rolls : Ingredients: 450g strong white flour 1 tsp of salt 2 tsp of dried yeast 300ml of lukewarm water (1/2 a pint) 2 tablespoons of olive or vegetable oil Serving size:12 rolls Method: 1: Sift the flour and salt into a large bowl using a sieve. Then add in yeast and mix 2: Make a large hollow in the centre of the bowl . You can do this by pushing the dry ingredients to the sides. 3: Pour the lukewarm water in the centre and add in oil 4: Mix everything together 5: Dust a space on a board with flour and place the dough down and knead 6: Place the dough into a clean bowl 7: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and leave for a 1hr 30mins in a warm place (hot press radiator or beside a warm fire in the evening) 8: Place the dough back on the surface and knead for a minute to squeeze out any air bubbles 9: Break the dough into roughly 12 pieces 10: Lightly brush the roll in milk and place toppings. I recommend poppy seeds 11: Bake for about 12-15 mins 12: Viola! Enjoy How to knead bread: 1: with your fist push forward 2: fold the dough in half 3 press downs with your palms 4: Repeat until smooth and springy
