Guest Blog ~ Lemon drizzle buns

Hi,
Lemon buns Ingredients: 2 lemons 100g of caster sugar 100g of butter 100g of flour 1 teaspoon of baking powder 2 medium eggs Method: preheat oven at 180°C. 1: Zest the yellow of the lemon. 2: Cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. 3: Add half of the flour and 1 egg. 4:Mix and then add the second half of the Flour and the last egg. 5: Add in your baking powder. 6: Mix all the ingredients together. 7: Juice the two lemons and add in the zest to the mix. 8: Only use half of the lemon juice while pouring in.(save for icing) 9: Cook in oven for about 15 minutes. 10: Once the alarm is off check to see if it's golden brown. 11: While the cake cools you can make the icing (optional). Ingredients (icing) Half of earliers lemon juice Icing sugar Method: This icing had no measurements. So it really depends on how much icing the person wants. 1: Mix the two ingredients together until no lumps. 2: Drizzle onto each bun. 3: Put lemon zest on top. 4: Taste amazing both hot or cold.
